Progressive Judaism in Denmark
Shir Hatzafon — Song of the North — is Copenhagen’s progressive Jewish congregation, affiliated with the World Union for Progressive Judaism. We are an egalitarian synagogue where women and men participate equally in all aspects of worship.
Our services are held in three languages: Hebrew, English, and Danish. From Shabbat dinners to cultural events, from Torah study to community celebrations, there are many ways to connect and be part of our growing community.
